  • Fatalities increased 3.3 percent from 2017
  • Injured persons decreased 2 percent from 2017
  • 21.6 percent of wrecks involved speeding

  • Failure to reduce driving speed
  • Not paying attention
  • Failure to yield right of way
  • Improperly changing lanes
  • Operating a vehicle in an unpredictable, careless, negligent, reckless or aggressive manner
